Wandering Minds Brings the Wonders of Science to Ateneo de Davao University
Wandering Minds brought its innovative science exhibits to Ateneo de Davao University's Math and Science Week celebration, held last November 5–6, 2024, featuring the Space Dome Mobile Planetarium. Pupils embarked on an immersive cosmic journey, exploring stars, planets, and galaxies, while also learning about climate change, astronaut life, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and telescope handling.
This collaboration highlights Wandering Minds' commitment to making science interactive and engaging, empowering young learners with knowledge and inspiration to make a positive impact in the world.
Inspiring Minds Through Interactive Science
Our exhibits aim to engage and inspire students through hands-on, interactive science learning experiences. This year, we showcased a variety of mobile science exhibits, designed to spark curiosity and foster a love for learning. Here are the key attractions that captivated attendees:
Ultimate 3D Experience
Featuring the country's largest mobile Van de Graaff generator, along with our 3D cinema, Chroma Key workshops, and telescope sessions, we offered students engaging, hands-on experiences to discover the marvels of static electricity and explore the mysteries of the universe.
Space Dome Experience
Our Mobile Planetarium provided participants with an exciting journey through space, delving into topics such as Mars exploration, astronaut training, and the environmental effects of Artificial Intelligence. This immersive experience expanded their understanding of how space and technology influence the future.
New Attractions – Jurassic on Wheels & World of AI
Attendees were immersed in life-sized dinosaur encounters and a 3D "World of AI" experience, providing an interactive dive into the realm of Artificial Intelligence. Our You Are What You Eat exhibit blended nutrition education with fun activities, making science both engaging and educational.
