Privacy Policy

Who we are

Wandering Minds PH is the science education brand of A & K Events Management Inc., a Philippine company that brings interactive science exhibits, the Space Dome Planetarium, 3D cinema, AI and robotics activities, and STEM learning experiences to schools and venues across the Philippines.

This policy explains what information wanderingminds.ph collects when you visit, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its implementing rules.

Information you give us

This website has no contact form and no account sign-up. Nothing is typed into this site and stored by us.

When you use a Book Now button you are taken to a Google Appointment Scheduling page, which is operated by Google on our behalf. Anything you enter there — your name, email address, phone number, school or organisation, and what you are enquiring about — is collected on that page, not on this one, and reaches us as a booking notification. If you instead phone, email, or message us on Facebook or Instagram, we receive whatever you choose to send through that channel.

We use those details only to answer you, prepare a quotation, and run the event you book. We do not sell them, and we do not share them with anyone outside the company except where the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use this site — which pages are read, which sections people reach, and which buttons get clicked. It sets cookies in your browser and receives your IP address, which Google uses to approximate your city and country. We cannot see your name, your email address, or your exact location through it, and we have not enabled any advertising or remarketing feature.

Specifically, we record: the pages you view, how far down a page you scroll, clicks on Book Now, clicks on our phone number and email address, clicks on our Facebook or Instagram links, and opening the chat button in the corner. Each is stored against a random identifier, not against you.

We do not run advertising pixels. There is no Meta/Facebook Pixel, no Google Ads tag, and no third-party advertising network on this site.

How to switch analytics off

You can refuse or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time — every major browser lets you block them for a single site or for all sites. Doing so does not affect anything on this website; nothing here needs a cookie to work.

To stop Google Analytics specifically, across every site you visit, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. Most browsers also offer a private or incognito window, which discards cookies when you close it.

This site does not change its behaviour in response to a browser "Do Not Track" signal, because there is no agreed standard for how a site should respond to one. The opt-out above works regardless.

Server logs

This site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard security and performance logs of requests — IP address, time, page requested, browser type. These are used to serve the site, block attacks, and diagnose faults. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.

Third parties

The services below receive data when you use this site. Each is a large provider with its own published privacy policy, which governs what it does with that data:

• Google LLC — Analytics (usage measurement), Appointment Scheduling (bookings), Fonts (page typefaces).
• Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, content delivery, and image hosting at media.wanderingminds.ph.
• Meta Platforms, Inc. — only if you click through to our Facebook or Instagram page. We link to them; we do not embed their tracking code here.

How long we keep it

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then deleted automatically. Booking and enquiry correspondence is kept for as long as needed to serve you and to meet Philippine tax and records requirements, then disposed of securely.

Children

Our events are for schoolchildren, but this website is written for the adults who book them — teachers, school administrators, and parents. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this site. Photographs and video taken at events are a separate matter, handled through the school or venue that engaged us, and governed by the consent arrangements agreed with them.

Your rights under the Data Privacy Act

As a data subject you have the right to be informed, to object to processing, to access what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it erased or blocked, to damages for a violation, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@wanderingminds.ph and tell us what you need.

If you believe we have mishandled your information, you may also complain to the National Privacy Commission at privacy.gov.ph.
